A bittersweet kind of month. On the one hand, there are many planets in your sign and you’re in the midst of a peculiar pleasure peak. On the other hand, we have two eclipses that shake things up – both personally and in the world at large. It is a cheerful but eventful kind of month.
The solar eclipse of the 9th (in America it happens on the 8th) occurs in your own sign, thus it affects you strongly. It displays a need to redefine yourself – your personality, your image and your self-concept. Generally this happens because others are slandering or misrepresenting you. If you don’t define yourself, they will. Thus over the next six months you’ll adopt a new look – a distinct image. The career is a function of this eclipse too as Jupiter. Your career planet, is influenced by it. Thus there are career changes and shake-ups in your company or industry. The rules of the game change. There are liable to be dramas in the lives of bosses, parents and parent figures.
This eclipse also impacts on Saturn, bringing dramas in the lives of friends, the testing of friendships and the testing of computers and high tech equipment. (Such equipment is likely to be erratic and temperamental over this period, and even before the eclipse actually happens.) It would be a great idea to have your important files backed up. Every solar eclipse brings job changes and changes in the health regime, because the Sun is your health and work planet. Sometimes the job changes are within your present company, but sometimes it is a new one. Often there are health scares with a solar eclipse and these will probably result in changes in your health regime. However, overall health is excellent this month (but go easy during the eclipse period).
The lunar eclipse of the 23rd is more benign for you, but it won’t hurt to go ahead leisurely during that period too. This eclipse is present in your 8th house, indicating that the spouse, partner or current love is making dramatic financial changes. Events happen that shows that the current strategy and thinking are not realistic. The 8th house is the home of death. This doesn’t mean literal death (at least most of the time it doesn’t) but encounters with death – close calls. Sometimes someone close to you dies or is placed under a near-death kind of experience. Sometimes people have dreams of death. This is supposed to be very educational rather than punitive. There is a need for a better understanding of this issue. When death is realized, life is better understood. Every lunar eclipse affects children and children figures in your life. Best to prevent them out of harm’s way during this period. They are likely to be more temperamental. So be more patient with them. They are redefining themselves as well.
